Built on Belief

We believe the best motivation comes from people who care about you — not algorithms, streaks, or gamification tricks.

Our Mission

JustTryToBeat.Me exists because personal growth shouldn't require expensive coaches, complex apps, or public accountability. It should come from the people who already believe in you.

We built a platform where sponsors — parents, teachers, coaches, partners, friends — can create structured challenges for the people they care about. Participants join for free, check in on their progress, and grow at their own pace.

The name says it all: "Just try to beat me." It's a playful dare from someone who wants to see you succeed. Not a demand. Not a threat. A challenge from someone who believes in your potential.

Our North Star Principles

Five ethical invariants that guide every decision we make.

Voluntary & Consent-Based

Participation is always voluntary. No one is forced into a challenge, and anyone can leave at any time without penalty.

Sponsor Responsibility

Sponsors own the responsibility for challenge design. The platform provides structure; the sponsor provides purpose and ethics.

Failure Is Recoverable

Failure is expected and recoverable. Missing a check-in triggers a reset, not an abandonment. Growth comes from trying again.

Children's Safety First

Children's privacy and safety take precedence over engagement. Protected participants have minimal data exposure and sponsor-mediated access.

Amplify Growth, Not Harm

The platform amplifies growth, not harm. We will never become a tool for shaming, surveillance, gambling, or coercion.
